Stayed here for 2 nights with a 13 strong stag party uring the August bank holiday weekend.
Positives:
There is a good bar downstairs
Good location (just 10mins walk to town centre)
Relatively cheap rates.
Negatives:
The rooms are basic and not massively clean.
Th bathrooms are all a bit 'miss-mash' and not very clean.
The showers didn't work very well in the majority of our rooms.
They do not take cards and only take cash at checkout (which was strange).
The hotel is relatively dated and looks like it could do with a refurb.
All in all, as my title says 'it's a place to sleep i suppose!' I would reccomend this hotel to anybody on a tight budget who doesn't like showers! On the flip side anybody else should not stay here, as i'm sure skegness has much more to offer else where (for not much more money).
it may be worth considering for Stag/Hen weekends though, as do people really care where they sleep?
