A lovely little bed and breakfast. I've stayed there twice and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. The rooms are small but clean and homely. Jill and Ian, the owners, are very friendly and happy to help you organise day trips and make you feel welcome. A continental or cooked breakfast is provided daily. A little over priced but reasonable for the area.

After staying at this establishment on numerous occasions during the last 18 months, I felt it only fitting to write a well deserved review.

This is a small family run establishment which always ensures a perfect stay. I originally selected this accommodation due to its proximity to Somerset College (300m up the road) in which I was working but after my first stay, i chose not to look elsewhere. The rooms, though modest in size are, modern and spotlessly clean. The house is decorated with some particular style and eye to detail, a fact which many larger establishments overlook.

The breakfast is plentiful, of a very good quality and choice and the proprietor is always welcoming and will cater for your every need.

In summary i wish that i could find establishments such as this one in every location that my work takes me.

TIP: just around the corner is a restaurant/bar called the "Wine & Sausage" this is well worth a visit to sample the local fare and good wine list.

Extremely pleasant ambience. Food good. Rooms comfortable and spotless. Service always helpful. Located within walking distance of the town centre.

My friend and I stayed just for the Saturday night as we were visiting family in Taunton.
The place was spotless, the beds comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, piping hot, beautifully cooked and presented and plenty of it. The en suite and shower were just great for the purpose, very clean and the shower easy to use and hot. The proprietor and his wife were extremely helpful and accommodating which we were very grateful for. Next time we go to Taunton we hope they will have room to fit us in again. Also only 10 minutes walking distance from town centre.
