A warm genuine welcome ,a warm buildlng (especially in view of the frosts we had) huge comfortable bed and excellent bathroom.

What a treat to have stayed in the Blackbird room at this bed and breakfast! Located about 10 or so minutes from the Port of Poole, the White House B & B delivered 5 Star customer service and provided totally unexpected quality in food (locally sourced and organic when available), top B & B accommodation (VERY comfortable bed, modern conveniences and decor, well designed bathroom, and a surprisingly spacious room for the 3 of us), and friendliness (both the proprietors and the other guests).

We had such a lovely stay, that we rerouted our trip back through Upton, Poole just to stay in this place again!

The rooms are fantastic - large, modern, clean and comfortable with everything you need (including homemade cake!) The breakfast menu is very extensive and nothing is too much trouble for Carol. This is my second stay and I would return again and again. I wouldn't usually write a travel review but this B&B is great and deserves a recommendation.

I booked 2 nights at the White House after reading other reviews and we certainly weren't disappointed! Carol & Rob made us feel very welcome & the homemade cakes were delicious! The White House is beautifully finished, with modern tasteful decor. The bed was huge & very comfy. The en-suite was spacious & immaculate. The breakfast was fantastic with a wide range of fruit, cereal & croissants not to mention a tasty full english with all local products, topped off with chunky toast & homemade preserves. We can't wait to stay again & can't recommend it highly enough
