Went for a cream tea last Thursday afternoon with two friends and sat in the lounge on very comfy chairs overlooking the terrace and the harbour. The view was amazing, we were able to watch the sunset over Brownsea Island. The waiter Adam was very polite, helpful and unobtrusive.
The cream tea was served on a stylish rectangular plate with two large warm scones. One plain one fruit. We were only given a small jar of what I call 'hotel breakfast jam' that wasn't really enough to adequately cover the 4 scone halves. A lovely big scoop of thick double cream... not clotted cream. I felt rather over priced for £8.50.... but the fabulous sunset and the view more than compensated for the price.
