This hotel is pretty average. I didn't get value for money for what I paid. £50 per night midweek and breakfast was extra. At this price range you would expect a better premises, room and facilities. The pros - friendly staff, good location close to town/marina, nice front bar. The cons - overpriced, very little parking, breakfast costs extra, a bit dingy.

I stayed for one night, and chose this hotel for its closeness to the town centre. The room was huge, No8, as was the T.V. a 40'' with perfect sky reception.

The staff that I met were all very friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was excellent value. The owner gave me lift to where my meeting was, a good 5 miles away, and at no charge.

Avoid this "HOTEL" at all costs. Beggars belief how it can even be described as a hotel!!! The level of service was terrible and it certainly was not value for money. Our room was never cleaned. In fact, we had to ask for clean towels (which we only got once) and toilet rolls (which we ended up buying at the local shop). As our stay was for 4 nights, this was totally unacceptable. How the AA has given this place a 3 star rating is beyond us.
The location is neither welcoming or friendly and I would certainly NEVER book this place again or recommend it to anyone, not even my worst enemy!!!

A brilliant weekend - more like visiting friends than staying in a hotel. Great nights sleep, great staff, great breakfast! Looking forward to our next visit.
