I stay at this hotel mainly with family but occasionaly on business. The rooms are small but very adequate. The beds are very comfortable and the hotel and general areas are quiet.The hotel public area and rooms are very clean and the service is excellent throughout and the staff are very pleasant and accomodating. I find the hotel very conveniently located to the Town and is literally on the doorstep of Portman Road Stadium and is less then one hours drive From Stanstead Airport.The train station is at the top of the road.Much better value then the budget hotels I have stayed in.My sons loved the free wifi in the lobby/bar area.Breakfast was excellent, you definitely won't be hungry afterwards.

My girlfriend and I satyed at the Ramada Friday 25th to Monday 28th November. The hotel was great - really clean - the staff were very friendly - the breakfast was good and the bar was nice with a good atmosphere.

The hotel is idealy located for access by road, 5 minutes walk from the train station and 10 minutes from the town centre.

There is also a gym in the hotel which although small is more than enough if you just want a quick run to keep you ticking over. All in all great value.

A group of 6 of us stayed for two nights over the weekend. The rooms are modern, clean and functional, if a bit minimalist. The rooms were Ok in size but you would not want to stay in them for long. There is a bar and ounge area downstairs with free newspapers and wifi. I don't know if there is wifi in the rooms, I didn't have cause to try to find out.

The hotel is close to the station and you can walk to the centre of Ipswich in about 10 mins. It has a small car park but there is an overflow car park that is about 5 mins walk away. We found the staff friendly and helpful - far more so than you get at many chain hotels.

I could not make it for the dinner that the other 5 had in the hotel but the general view was that it was good. Breakfast is self-service but runs until 11am with the usual full range of cooked and cold items.

The hotel is in the perfect location for someone who doesnt drive, and uses the railway system.
The staff are welcoming and professional at all times. My business meetings went well and the surroundings made it a perfect venue.
The food is of a high standard and the rooms are modern, well furnished and very clean.
My business asociates were also very impressed, so a very positive and perfect stay. Thank you,
