Comfortable, clean and very relaxed. Genuinely friendly staff and the best cooked breakfasts ever.

Booking was very easy and informal. Rang up and asked for the room. Owner took name and expected arrival time and that was that, no pressure and no money up front over the phone. We picked the 4 poster room as it looked quite romantic. On arrival the hotel is in a fairly central point on a quite side street. Room was smallish but nicely furnished, the bed luxuriously decorated with cushions bed spread etc and very comfortable. The room and en suite bathroom were immaculate and clean though the bathroom a little dated. Breakfast was a feast (we had full Welsh) but plenty of other options if required. All in all this is a nice little hotel that has a warm personal feel about it that you don't get in the bigger chain establishments.The owner is friendly and helpful and genuinely cares about his guests A big plus.... there were no Christmas decorations up at this time of year unlike many of the sea front hotels doing 'Tinsel & Turkey' for OAP's. From experience,for the money it was god value having stayed in far worse hotels and rooms for the same or more money.

A lovely welcome, disappointed with the room, cheap decor, toilet would'nt flush, hole in the cistern lid, tired bathroom, but bed comfy, very overpriced for what it is and breakfast disappointing but the waitress was lovely, warm (not that I hugged her, lol) and friendly

Thank you for relaxing weekend at Craig-Ard. Room 16 was lovely and comfy. The freshly cooked breakfasts were excellent and so nice not to be rushed. We arrived as guests and left as friends. Definitely recommend this hotel. Will be back. Car parking was a bonus.
