just back from 5 days with caledonian travel. Llandudno was lovely,like stepping back in time. hotel was clean,meals were good ,staff realy nice, would recommend.

Just returned form a 7 day holiday staying in this hotel. It is a lovely, clean, comfortable hotel although the rooms and public areas are very dated and could do with modernisation. Our room was spacious and the ensuite was fine although there was no shower. The most impressive thing about this hotel is the service in the dining room. The staff are so friendly, efficient and eager to please. I am vegetarian and they went out of their way to provide me with a variety of meat free meals. They even ordered in veggie sausages for breakfast which I thought was great. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay in a great location in Llandudno.

Have stayed here before and this was our second trip. Again, the food was excellent (particularly the steak and kidney pie!) but this time I felt the rooms let them down. They are maided rather too quickly during our breakfast and so certain bits were missing. WC was not thoroughly cleaned from last guest and floor and shower rim in the bathroom was not as clean as it could have been. Beds were hurriedly thrown together and had to be pulled apart in order to get under the sheet, a reminder of hospital beds!
They are desperately in need of new pillows as the ones they have are solid lumps and the towels are just about falling apart. This said, they are are I think fairly new into the venture and it must be a costly outlay. Excepting for the above points, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are going back again shortly. The service in the dining room is exceptional with the whole family involved.

Just had our first holiday with a coach tour at this hotel, and can't wait to go back! It was wonderful to find a hotel which has somone in their kitchen who can peel a potato! At last, we were served with a variety of meals with different veg over 4 nights and different potatoes from boiled through creamed to roast and not those little hard bullets boiled in their skins. Meals were cooked to perfection and served on piping hot plates too.
If anything I would have to say the maid service let them down slightly, beds were hastily pulled together and covered with an eiderdown which when pulled back at bedtime revealed a bottom sheet that was all crumpled and had to be stretched flat and tucked in. Maybe they hadn't too much time to do the room thoroughly as they had been maided by the time we'd had breakfast. Rooms had lovely heaters though, piping hot water, excellent showers and heated towel rails which worked. All the staff were very very friendly and we would most certainly return to this hotel.
