“We will be back”

From start to finish it was first class all the way. Dave and Michael were warm and friendly felt like we had known them forever. The hotel is fantastic, very clean and nothing is too much trouble. Location is excellent. Breakfast also got top marks. So glad we were recommended to stay at such a stunning place. We will be back.

“Fab break”

Having visited Llandudno many times and tried various hotels, some better than others, we have found the one for us. Can-y-Bae sits proudly on the sea front with the Theatre only a stones throw to the right, and the shops to the left and rear. It is a very relaxing hotel, and from Dave and Michael who own and run it you are guaranteed a very warm welcome and maybe a short song from Dave from one of the musicals he knows so well. The hotel is spotlessly clean and tidy with very comfortable rooms and a lovely theatre inspired bar. Breakfast is superb with a vast selection of goodies on display to tempt you!! Nothing is too much trouble for these two, who will do everything possible to make your stay memorable.
Thankyou both for our lovely stay,

“Perfect for what we wanted!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

This is a lovely hotel. The rooms are clean and tidy and maintained to a high standard. Breakfast was wonderful with a great selection and quality sausages! We literally only stayed 1 night for a concert at Venue Cymru so we were not in the hotel much to be honest.

My only recommendation would be bigger beds! This is just my preference though. We are used to a superking size at home so down sizing to double was hard for us. King size would have still fitted comfortably in the room. However, excellent standards on all fronts and would stay again and recommend to friends!

Thanks!

“Fantastic Fortnight!”

I had the great fortune whilst working in Llandudno for a few weeks to stay at the Can-y-bae. It had been recommended to me, and exceeded all expectations! Hosts Michael and Dave run this beautifully appointed warm, friendly and hugely comfortable hotel impeccably.
The Theatrically themed bar became a haven after a long day at work- the jewel in the crown!
The bed was comfortable, the room was peaceful and of course spotless, and the choice for breakfast was above and beyond the norm. In all, I had the most wonderful two weeks and will not hesitate to recommend it to everyone I know planning a holiday or working trip to this beautiful town. Thanks Michael and Dave for everything!

“Winter Wonderland”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 January 2012

A lovely pre-Christmas weekend, a return visit to the Can-y-Bae for us, ideal for relaxing after a hard day of Christmas Shopping. Plenty of retail outlets - the usual High Street stores mixed in with ineresting boutique shops, market stalls and antique shops. Something for everyone, and plenty of welcoming coffee shops to rest your weary limbs. A delicious pre-theatre 3-couse meal served at the hotel before embarking on a 5 minute walk to the theatre for the Pantomine. Did we enjoy the weekend? Oh yes we did! This venue is recommended any time of the year - certainly year-round entertainment.

Room Tip: Book as early as you can - all rooms are lovely, we have stayed in most of them now. Choose a show...
