We stayed here for 1 night as we were attending The Theatre. It is right next door so very conveninet with free parking. We upgraded to a deluxe room which we paid £63 for which was a good price. Dont think we would have paid the full price of around £130 though.
Its a traditional hotel without being old fashioned and drab as you find in a lot of these Victorian Hotels. It was beautifully fitted out with lovely furniture, wall papers, curtains light fittings. etc. The most comfy bed with lovely ben linen etc. Nice size bathroom and very clean throughout.
Lovely little extras like a bowl of sweets and fruit so you could help yourself in the hallway. Our room was lovely and airy with a front window overlooking the sea and a large side window which literally looked right into the Vendue Cymru restuarant but easy enough to close the curtains when you needed to. The staff was very attentive and lovely.
The good thing as well if only we had known the Leisure centre was right behind the hotel so especially if you have children you could take them to the swimming pool.
The breakfast in the morning was hot and tasty with plenty of tea /coffee/ toast whatever you wanted really plus they were serving breakfast up until 10.30.
Ideal hotel if you were coming to the theatre they even offered a service which they could book tickets for you and you would get a discount off. They even offered a pre theatre early supper which we did not take up on for 2 courses around £12.50 which seemed very good value.
A level walk into town along the prommenade was only some 10 mins leisurely walk away.
Glad we stayed here and would not hesitate to stay here again.
