“Great Place For Couples”

Stayed here in August 2007 with my fiancee and was fairly unimpressed. Soon afterward, the place had a refit. Judging by the pictures on the website, the place looked great. My fiancee is now my wife and we decided to book this place for a week over New Year. The price for a week during this period is/was £150! Absolute bargain for self-catering. We arrived and the place had certainly sorted itself out. Finally we could actually get a picture on the TV due to the fitting of a freeview box. A DVD player had also been fitted. Handy if the weather gets a bit choppy later in the evening. The location of Penn Sarne is abou halfway between the North and West Shore. I can't really argue about this place. Clean, tidy and comfy. Ideally suited to couples that like to go out and explore all day and come back to somewhere cosy to relax for the night.

stayed in apartment four nice clean tidy comfortable newly refurbed few little things were broke or not working but were fixed next day would recomend and would stay again

We stayed in Flat 2 - lovely clean and comfy flat. In a brill location - very quiet. Modernised with lovely kitchen and bathroom. Freeview & DVD player are a bonus! Nicely furnished too :)

Would definitely stay there again.

“Hated Penn-Sarne”

Penn-Sarne Luxury Holiday Flats turned out to be very basic.It was damp & cold which was compounded by the hot water heater being switched off at the times you needed it.The cooker handle & shelf in fridge were broken,bed was very lumpy-we had to swap sides, duvets too small(we had to buy another duvet to sleep).TV had no picture for 15 minutes each time you switched it on.No facilities for disposing of rubbish , bags were left on the front door step by other flats & bitten open by unseen animals . there were lots of other niggles .Needless to say we will not be returning.
