We stayed here for two nights during our honeymoon, we just knocked at the door and were lucky to be offered a choice of two rooms. We had looked at rooms in a nearby guesthouse and were not impressed. As soon as we met the friendly hosts John and Joyce and got an impression of the house, we knew it was what we were after. We chose a lovely room with 4 poster bed, beautifully modern decor. Bathroom was tiny and the shower was weak, but who really cares about that when you're in a beautiful place like Llandudno. I thought the dvds in the room were a lovely touch. Also we were able to view our wedding cd on the dvd player! Breakfast was lovely too, John was in and out of the breakfast room many many times! Our only negative experience was the family staying there at the same time, who were very loud and irritating, and to our absolute horror the child with them actually urintated at the front of the property one morning! However, overall it was a lovely place, well located and with probably the friendliest hosts we came across over a week of travelling.

* Hotel gave suggestions for eating, we should have looked first night as was not so good, but we did go the their suggestion next night @ Candles restuarant which we both had a lovely meal and not too pricey.
Llandudno itself would not want to go back to.

The owners of Morlea were wonderful. Helped us book the room even though we changed our needs. Then greeted us warmly and provided help finding a place to eat and suggesting things to see. And they served a fantastic breakfast. The room was cute, very large, extremely comfortable bed, satellite tv, wireless internet, parking. Don't think one could find anything better for the price.

we stayed in the Morlea, and I would agree that the hosts were very pleasant and helpful, and that the location was excellent. The room was clean, but we were in the attic, and the sloping roof made it impossible for us to stand upright in the bedroom unless you were at the bathroom side of the bed. the sliding door to the bathroom doesnt close properley, so if you are using the bathroom you can be seen from the bed! there were two chairs in the room, but one was very creaky so we didnt use it. also, there were a LOT of stairs for anyone who has mobility problems (though the host did offer to carry bags which was nice. overall, the people there were very nice. the room spoiled it, but I couldnt comment on the rest of the rooms - just the one we stayed in.
