“big and fat 3 stars guys-spot on”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 January 2012

Although small and perhaps unimpressive from the outside the inside was very lovely, spacious and inviting. It was our first stay in Morley however we would love to come and stay there in the future. Joyce and John are great owners - they made us feel comfortable and safe. Highly recommended for its breakfast and great reception. Parking was not a issue for us ( you need to be quick to have a space though). Maja, Jola & Szymon from Bournemouth.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 8 as far as I remember and that one was relatively big with additional pull out s...

“Comfortable Stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 January 2012

We have just arrived back from a stay over the New Year at the Morlea Hotel. I have to say what a lovely, friendly couple John and Joyce were. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom was very small but we only used it now and again so it was no problem and they are limited on space there also we had the room with fourposter bed and I think it would be better with an ordinary bed to make more use of the space
The breakfast gets full marks. It arrived on a huge plate and we had trouble eating it all. Now this is coming from someone who loves a big fry up. The next morning we down sized a little on it so as not to waste any of it. It was fresh and steaming hot and just wow!
All in all The Morlea is great little place to stay and very reasonably priced and you get a free parking space into the bargain. What more does one want? Well done John and Joyce. We'll be back!

“Good B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 November 2011

We enjoyed our recent stay at Morlea. The room was comfortable with a decent bed and clean bathroom with a very good range of toiletries, including helpful items like earbuds and cotton wool. Everything you could need really. We liked having a DVD player in the room and the tv had a clear picture. The breakfast was excellent, with superb eggs and coffee. The B&B is in a handy location, quiet yet within a few mintes of the shops, sea and cafes. The hosts were friendly and knowledgeable too. We have already booked again!

“Great value for money”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 November 2011

Was warmly welcommed into the morlea and shown to our room. The room was very inviting, clean and comfortable. Slightly too small for the amount of furniture in it but nothing to be upset about. TV avalible with selection of DVD's which made it feel homely.
Parking was avalible which was a bonus. Breakfast was lovely plenty of options.
Perfect location very short walk from the center.
Would happily stay there again.

“Greaty stay ~ Warm Welcome and Fabulous Breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 October 2011

We were fortunate to have found a room for several nights as many other places were fully booked.
Joyce and John were very friendly and welcoming.

We enjoyed a small room with all the amenities, which was very clean. The cooked breakfast was FABULOUS and there were always extras afterwards...hash browns, sausages...bacon. Fresh juice, coffee and tea were available with an assortment of cereals, yogurts and various jams for your morning slices of toast. Breakfast was served from 8:30- 9am, and there were various options to choose from for a cooked breakfast.

Our room has a wardrobe for store our luggage. Loved the hot chocolate option for the non tea/coffee drinkers. The location is excellent as it's within walking distance of the numerous shops, restaurants and the waterfront. We took an evening stroll down to the waterfront and enjoyed the evening lights.

Parking was tight; however we managed and one evening, found a roadside spot on further down from the B&B. Internet connection was hit or miss as the signal dropped several times.

Would definitely STAY again if we were in the area.
