“Llandudno great - shame about the Guest House.”

Two phone calls before we arrived - "When will you get here." Not the best of starts.Reception mixed - talked to me and ignored my wife. Room adequate but pillows dirty and stained. Breakfast hot and poor with my plate removed before my wife was finished hers. Sausages 90% sawdust, mushrooms we think were boiled but tomatoes were excellent. We expected breakfast to be approx 07.30 till 0930 - but were informed nine o'clock sharp! Would suggest trying elsewhere. But overall LLandudno lovely place to visit.

“Good value, quiet and comfortable.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 April 2010

Very good value hotel. The room was bright and comfortable with tea making facilities and en suite. Its situated in a quiet location but close to all shops and attractions. Breakfast was a good standard and filling. Parking can be a problem during the day but we usually found a place outside in the evening and this problem applies to the majority of hotels in the area. Overall excellent value.

“did not live up to previous reviews”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 October 2008

At first we were welcomed by a lady who showed us to our Room which was large but decoration tired. One of the the pillows must have been used on the floor as it was filthy and stained. We stayed for two nights. After our first breakfast my wife didn't finish her breakfast and was told it would have the access items removed for the next morning (skinflint). We went into town for the day and returned early evening to find the room had not been serviced. there was no coffee left for us, the towels hadn't been changed, the bed wasn't made, the bins not emptied. At £50 per night for a Double Room and Breakfast, I expected better.

“Lovely old fashioned resort”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 October 2008

spent 3 nights in this Hotel which is situated near to the Great Orme which is great fro Fresh air and walking but also if your not so good on your legs you can reach summit by lovely old fashioned Tram ride or car! Lovely veiws from the top and well worth a visit- the resort is a lovely old fashioned place hardly touched but does boast a new retail park for shoppers with the usually big outlet shops but can be avoided if you wish- lovely big sweimming pool in centre and smashing promeade to walk or ride bikes on down to lovely Rhos on Sea- also only a stone throw is Conway castle which is worth a visit and stands magnificent as you approach- lovely place to spend a weekend- and hotel was clean, comfortable and made to feel welcome with a lovely wholesome full English breakfast served piping hot each morning0 recommend for a cheap w/e break
