Steve, Debbie and the rest of the staff run one of the best guest houses that I have had the pleasure to stay in! Basically, the best way to describe the Senarth is that they invite you in to their extended home as friends!
First, you are greeted at the front door and shown to your room. There is plenty of parking, but be prepared to leave your keys should you leave the car to journey out on foot. This is so no other guests are blocked in, but if you talk with the other guests at breakfast, you generally get an idea of whether you'll need to anyway!
The room we stayed in was on the 2nd floor and was very clean and well decorated. A nice 4-poster bed was the centre piece of the room, but there was ample space for seating and a good-sized wardrobe for your clothes. The shower room was again, a good size, with a double electric shower. Nice, clean towels too!
You order breakfast the night before and this means that when you get downstairs, breakfast is well organised. Oh, and delicious! There are cereals, of course, tea & coffee and juices, as well as yoghurts and fresh fruit. A cooked breakfast follows and you finish with toast! Job well done! A varied menu, too.
The location is excellent, within walking distance of the High Street, the pier and the tram that goes to the top of the Great Ormes Head. LLandudno is in a great location for exploring the North Wales coast, Snowdonia and Anglesey as well as a little further afield, should you wish.
I must just add that Steve was an absolute star when we stayed. My Fiancee was unwell when we arrived and he did all he could to help her on the road to recovery and always asked after her well-being. Both he and Debbie recommended doctors for her to visit and left her in plenty of peace and quiet while she recovered. That really helped me to relax, knowing that they were 'keeping an eye out' while I (selfishly??) went out for dinner. A big Thank you for their care and attention.
We would have no doubt in returning to Llandudno and of course, to the Senarth. Cheers Steve!
