Our group of 3 adults and 2 small children were welcomed at Agar house and felt well looked after. The rooms were very comfortable and maintained to a high standard. Breakfast was excellent with good veggie and kids' options. We were given really good recommendations for things to do and see and for a kid friendly pub/ restaurant. The guest house is only a 5 minute walk from the sea front making it an ideal location for children desparate to get to the sea and for adults who want a quieter street for a good night's sleep! Good T.V's and freeview in the rooms. This is a very organised and well run guest house offering a high quality service - definitely recommended.

Great location, about 10 minute walk to downtown and esplanade. Host was very welcoming and even helped us carry one of our bags up the 3 flights of stairs. Our bedroom was small, but was very clean and nicely decorated. Great breakfast which included cold cereal, toast, juice, fruit, and English hot breakfast if desired. Very clean and accommodating. Our host was so warm and friendly. She really made us feel welcome. This place is definitely recommended.

This was our first visit to Agar House. Maeve and Tim couldn't have been more welcoming, they were able to pass on lots of information about activities, ideas for days out as well as places to eat. Every where was immaculate and the food was exceptional.In all very good value for money .

This B & B is by far the best I have stayed at. So clean with a very tasteful decor. We went for 4 days and wish it had been much longer. The proprietors Maeve and Tim made us feel more than welcome. They are extremely friendly people and very helpful and knowledgeable on places of interest locally.
The breakfast was amazing so varied and filling it saw us through to early evening.
We will certainly be returning to this delightful place.
