We had a lovely weekend stay at the Agar House B&B early in July. Located on a quiet street in the center of town, Agar house is convenient to the train station, shopping and restaurants and both the east and west beaches of Llandudno. The proprietors Tim and Maeve were very friendly and helpful about things to do around town, and very understanding of our jet lag. They served a lovely full English breakfast, and were accommodating to the wishes of our teen son as well. Our only very minor complaint would have been that the double bed in our family room was pretty firm and uncomfortable, based on American standards. Our son's twin bed in contrast, was very comfortable, so he had the best sleep of all. There is no air conditioning (nor is it really needed) but a portable fan would have been helpful to keep the room less stuffy after a sunny day. All in all a very comfortable B&B with many great qualities that will only improve with time.

From the moment we walked through the door we were made to fell most welcome.
The room was bright,comfortable and a good size.Breakfast was lovely,made with quality produce including top notch home-made marmalade.Free parking is available on the road outside,we had no problem in finding a space. Give this place a try. You won't be disappointed!!

First stayed at Agar House summer 2009 with my partner, returned this year in January and are intending on returning later this year in the summer with our friends. Tim and Maeve are great hosts, with a wealth of knowledge about the area and really make you feel welcome - almost like part of the family.

The rooms are fresh, clean and well equipped with flat screen tv's tea making facilities and have a nice homely feel to them and each has their own unique charm and character.

Breakfast is a full English and served in a nice airy dining room overlooking the stunning gardens, and I personally thought that the homemade marmalade was to die for...

Agar House itself s set in a quiet tree lined road, close enough to the centre to feel you're in the middle of things with easy access to all the amenities, but far enough not to be disturbed at night. It's location - situated between both beaches is something that I particularly liked.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone, and would be as bold as to suggest that once you visit you will return.

This was our second stay at Agar House after also staying last month. With both visits we were warmly welcomed by Tim and Maeve, and looked after in very comfortable rooms with an excellent breakfast. The house is ideally located in the quieter area of Llandudno but still within easy walking distance of the town. Will look forward to staying here in the near future. Thanks again to Tim and Maeve.
