Agar House was a fantastic weekend away with my girls ! Very clean and mordern rooms with a good sized onsuite . Loved the location, 5 minute walk from the town and 2 minute walk from the beach with gorgeous views and lovely,friendly people. The breakfast was lovely and such nice hosts will definately be back again and will be recommending it and im sure my friends will too .

Our group of 3 adults and 2 small children were welcomed at Agar house and felt well looked after. The rooms were very comfortable and maintained to a high standard. Breakfast was excellent with good veggie and kids' options. We were given really good recommendations for things to do and see and for a kid friendly pub/ restaurant. The guest house is only a 5 minute walk from the sea front making it an ideal location for children desparate to get to the sea and for adults who want a quieter street for a good night's sleep! Good T.V's and freeview in the rooms. This is a very organised and well run guest house offering a high quality service - definitely recommended.

Great location, about 10 minute walk to downtown and esplanade. Host was very welcoming and even helped us carry one of our bags up the 3 flights of stairs. Our bedroom was small, but was very clean and nicely decorated. Great breakfast which included cold cereal, toast, juice, fruit, and English hot breakfast if desired. Very clean and accommodating. Our host was so warm and friendly. She really made us feel welcome. This place is definitely recommended.

This was our first visit to Agar House. Maeve and Tim couldn't have been more welcoming, they were able to pass on lots of information about activities, ideas for days out as well as places to eat. Every where was immaculate and the food was exceptional.In all very good value for money .
