we stayed for 5 days on a tinsel and turkey break with a group of older people .the staff were very friendly and we were given a nice welcome when we arrived .the rooms though a bit small were clean and warm .the food was very good and we had entertainment every night .we had a lovely time and cant wait to go back.

“Great Weekend - Personal Hotel”

Just got back from a night in LLandudno. I booked a superior seaview as it was my partners birthday. The hotels were very busy for some reason and so i couldnt go with the usual hotels that i stay with. I chose the trevone as I have been to LLandudno many times and my partner has often commented on how lovely the Trevone looks from outside with lovely windows and curtains, so i thought i would suprise him!!!

The hotel was no disappointment. Right from when you arrive, it is a personal friendly service that makes you feel welcome. The gentleman on reception was very nice and helpful.

The room was totally gorgeous. Very spacious, lovely bedding, comfortable bed, modern TV and plently of items for making tea/coffee. Breakfast in the morning again was served by a very friendly and happy lady that couldnt do enough to make breakfast a pleasurable experience. I didnt actually have any breakfast but my partner said it was really tasty. Oh and you get a 'proper' pot of tea - not the miunte itsby-bitsy ones that only hold a mouthful which you get in most hotels!!!

Overall it was a great stay and i am glad I have found another great hotel in Llandudno as i will definately be staying again :)

“Terrible Hotel - The Hotel Manager was awful!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 July 2010

I stayed at this hotel recently. The rooms were dirty, the curtains were covered in dust. The pillows on our bed were badly stained. The bathroom was tiny and had a smell of sewage. Difficult using the toilet, as this was too close to the shower and sink. The radiator badly stained and rusty. Hotel lounge furniture very aged and dirty. The hotel manager customer service was appalling, he was quite rude and not customer friendly at all. The breakfast, well what can I say. very very small portions. One tablespoon of cereal or one weetabix, which a staff member provided for you. Toast and breakfast cold. Crockery really dated. Bar never opened. This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The dust in the room made me feel really ill. This was just an awful experience. Llandudno is a wonderful place. This hotel needs refurbishing and a change in management!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A really dissatisfied customer.

“Don't believe everything advertised!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 July 2010

First impression-good. Welcomed by proprietor. Surprised to see notice in reception saying credit & debit cards not accepted. Room deluxe sea facing double was sparcely furnished with utility furniture plus a single bed which took up a lot of space-a small coffee table would have been an advantage. Tea/coffee tray very good. Left hotel in evening to eat at our favourite resraurant-on return wanting quiet drink at the bar before bed-only to find the place in darkness. Had to leave and go down the road to get a drink! The breakfast was very poor, bacon tasteless & sausage more cereal than ever near to a pig! Enquiring about the bar being closed, was informed that it only opens during week days when coach parties are in, and any way there are plenty of other places to get a drink! The proprietor went on to say that he didn't want to be kept up by guests returning late and then talking "drivel" for hours. We had chosen this hotel because of the small bar, with the idea that it would be quiet, and nice for a few drinks before retiring for the night. Nowhere is this information listed. Very disappointed and wouldn't want to return.

“this is not a 4* their sister hotel is, so be careful”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 July 2010

it shows that this hotel is 4* which is why i booked, when we arrived in the building we knew straight away it wasnt a 4*. The lift was frightening ancient and against all rules i would have thought, there was no door on it, it fits one person at a time and the wall is what you see moving in front of you when you go up or down. the room we were given was shocking, dirty, and old and damp. no way were we staying there.
The man there told us that they had another hotel up the road by the grand which was the 4* hotel.
so be careful
