“Another superb stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 November 2011

We thought our first stay at the St Hilary was great - this one was even better!!

As usual, the breakfasts were superb - love the custom-order of the cooked breakfasts and the choice on offer for the continental. There are some great small touches too that make all the difference.

We've stayed in two different rooms there and both have been warm, cosy and absolutely spotless.

Anne-Marie and Howard were their usual welcoming selves - you couldn't ask for friendlier hosts.

All in all, another superb stay! Thanks!

The welcome was warm and the room beautifully clean with plenty of space. Lots of tea and coffee with biscuits and chocolates to enjoy. The breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choice and superb service. You can't go wrong by choosing the St Hillary!

“friendly,helpfull,modern rooms”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 September 2011

ive just returned from my stay at the st hilary ,the owners are very helpfull and friendly,my room(number 7)was on the 2nd floor and was very modern with a good view of the welsh moutains,
breakfast was excellent ,with a good choice including fresh fruit, also theres plenty of tea and toast, the free parking outside was very convenient.
Only thing to think about is the distance to the busier part fo town, its a lovely walk,if you are reasonably fit or short drive with free parking in the centre (north part ot town)which starts at 4pm.

Room Tip: rooms at rear look out onto mountains, which is very pcturesque

“A perfect b&b”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 September 2011 via mobile

This is a great little place.

Location is ideal, on the coast road with great views, a pleasant flat 20 minute walk along the promenade to town, plenty of free on street parking, and a good few shops and restaurants nearby if you don't want to walk to the busier part of town.

The room was exceptionally clean, and decorated in a nice modern style.
Breakfast was a treat, cleverly the hosts give you an order form the night before, so your choice is prepared fresh each morning.

Thanks to Anne Marie and Howard for a lovely stay

“An outstanding guest house - we will return!”

Having read previous wonderful reviews on Trip Advisor, we booked a three night mini break at St.Hilary's in the lovely seaside resort of Llandudno - and we really enjoyed our stay.

We were warmly welcomed by Howard, who not only showed us to our room, offering to carrry our cases, but also shared lots of useful information about the best local restaurants for a family evening meal.

Our excellent room was certainly pristine - it looked like we were the very first to stay there! It was spotlessly clean, bright and very nicely furnished. There was an ample supply of top of the range teas, coffee and hot chocolate, plus biscuits and chocolates and bottled water...great! The double bed and single bed were really comfortable, just right for a fine night's sleep.

Breakfast was super, plently of fruit juice available - cereals, fruit and yogurt - and an excellent, freshly cooked. locally sourced selection of eggs, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes plus fried bread, hash browns, toast and preserves - yummy !!! Ann Marie is a great hostess - caring and thoughtful, in an inobtrusive, professional manner

The shared areas of St Hilary's are bright, comfortable and very welcoming.

Located at the quiet end of the bay (Craig-y-Don) where parking is free and ample - we had no trouble finding a roadside spot adjacent to St.Hilary's. We could therefore travel around by car, yet always return to park nearby.

And the view from the bay window of our room certainly had a "WOW" factor. It was just so beautiful! There were two very well designed, easy chairs so that you could relax and enjoy the breathtaking scenery - and a telescope so you could get up close to the Pier, the Great and Little Orme and the ships out on the horizon.

So to Howard and Ann Marie - thanks for welcoming us to your OUTSTANDING guest house - our son Callum said thanks for the mints (I hope he didn't eat too many !!). He also enjoyed the free WiFi facility for his lap top.

Hopefully we will be able to book Room 5 again next year.
