I spent a couple of rainy days in Llandudno with my octogenarian mother and teenage daughter. All three generations had a restorative and relaxing time, were looked after attentively by hotel staff and could certainly have stayed a couple more days without much persuasion. This is a traditional family hotel at its best; not in the least pretentious but everything from rooms, to restaurant, to lounge facilities presented to a very high standard. The spa/pool is, perhaps, a little limited but good enough for a spot of exercise if the weather prevents much walking. The hotel is in a great location, with a lovely sea view (worth paying extra for rooms at the front), and a couple of minutes walk to the town centre. Highly recommended.
