All I can say is... after staying here a few days, I booked the whole hotel for my 60:th! Got all my friends down from the UK, Sweden, Spain & Canada and went nuts! Such a wonderful, cosey place, with two wonderful, cosey, helpful owners who will do ANYTHING to make your stay perfect, and... the full english breakfast is the best in Wales!

Great location just up the hill from the pier with stunning views from room 6. Parking was easy with no charge. Owners very welcoming. Room very clean and breakfast very good.

The location of this small hotel would be hard to beat. I have been to far worse 2 star hotels in this area. This one had new carpets, decent sized bedrooms and was very clean. The owners do their utmost to create an informal but helpful presence and the breakfast offered various alternatives - the kippers were particularly good. Parking might be a problem at busy periods but all in all this was a hotel I would consider again when visiting this area on a budget. The Orme walks can be accessed from the hotel very easily.

I booked a room at Hafod-y-Mor for my wife's birthday after reading the great reviews here on Trip Advisor. I have to say that the reviews are spot on. This place is wonderful. Helen and Eddie are terrific hosts. The place is spotless and the view from room 6 is unbeatable. The breakfast is great and you still get the terrific view from the dining area. The hotel also sports a bar with reasonably priced drinks, which is a big plus if you just want to sit and relax after a hard days exploring and look at the view with a nice cold pint. We didn't get to see Charlie the Seagull but we had an "imposter" seagull that came and stood on our window sill for pretty much the entire time we were there, waiting for us to feed him. We didn't but that didn't stop him trying. We will definately return to Hafod-y-Mor, hopefully sooner rather than later.
