There are so many pluses for this 'Restaurant with Rooms'. We stayed for 2 nights as we were attending a family Christening. From check in to check out we had a superb stay. The rooms are very comfortable and they are in the process of refurbishing the entire premises - although you would never know that extreme work was being carried out. There are 2 places to dine - the restaurant and the brasserie (that is themed Alice in Wonderland). We ate in both and the food is fantastic. The restaurant is very popular locally too. For starters I had the home made black pudding on a potato rosti - delicious - and my husband had the chicken parfait with brioche. Main courses were the Lamb 3 ways and the steak in red wine. Excellent amount of choice on the menu and prices very competitive. The brasserie has an extensive menu and we ate there on Sunday - again first class. The bar is popular with local people too which is always a plus. Atmosphere throughout the building is lovely and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The Lilly is situated on the West promenade and has fabulous views over to Anglesey. Breakfast is really lovely with lots of choice. Vicky makes sure you have everything you need and the food is piping hot. We have already booked to go back. Phil, Adam and all the staff deserve every piece of praise they receive. My wife and I enjoyed a very good dinner and overnight stay at The Lilly last night. I booked through lastminute.com on Friday and we arrived about 5.00 pm Saturday evening. All staff were very friendly and helpful and our room was fine. We went for dinner at 7.30 and the restaurant was almost full within minutes.
The food and service was very good...The one slight problem was that my wife had ordered a steak "medium" but what arrived was a (very) rare one. However, the waiter apologised and brought a very nice replacement with not too much delay.
Breakfast was excellent. We both had grapefruit followed by the cooked full Welsh. Overall, we would recommend The Lilly to anyone, and plan to re-visit quite soon.

We had a lovely meal back in September 2011 for our daughters birthday. As I own a small cafe/restaurant in Llandudno (The Cocoa House) I was pleased the Lilly accepted us arriving late on that Sunday afternoon as I was busy and running late. The food was above my expectations and the service the same. Lovely friendly atmosphere, very clean and good value for money. My grandchildren were made welcome and enjoyed their food too. Only sorry I have not put a review on earlier.
