“Lovely B & B with good, friendly service and great breakfast!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 February 2011

For the money, this B & B is as good as any in the area. The service is friendly without being overbearing or patronising, the rooms are clean and comfortable, well equipped and quiet, and the breakfast is absolutely top notch! It's about a ten to fifteen minute walk from the town centre but this is compensated by the free parking on the road at the front of the building.

“A Great B&B”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 December 2010

The owners of Britannia are fantastically welcoming and the B&B provided us with a great base for our weekend away. The room was clean and well positioned with a lovely sea view. James provided us with some great recommendations for local eateries and was on hand to provide assistance during our stay. The breakfasts provided were lovely. Whilst I appreciate it was out of season, the car parking was no hassle and there was plenty of space outside of the hotel, free of charge. I would definitely use Britannia again - excellent.

“lovely place which was welcoming and comfortable with a great sea veiw”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 August 2010

We a had a lovely three night stay. The room was comfortable and had a fantastic sea veiw with facilities to make hot drinks which was very nice when we came back to get changed after getting caught in a heavy shower . The en 'suite was rather small and the shower took a long time to warm up but was ok and better than sharing. The breakfast was realy good with a good choice.

“Worth every one of the four stars awarded”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 August 2010

What a wonderful guest house. We had a lovely welcome, a lovely clean room, smashing breakfast all complimented by wonderful hosts and friendly and helpful staff. They are also willing to cater for individual needs. Our daughter was made really welcome. We usually stay in big hotels and this guest house offered a welcome and refreshing change and we will certainly be using it again. It is a short walk to all of the main attractions and a very pleasant one at that, especially at nght when the whole promenade is lit up. Please give this guest house a try you will not be disappointed!

“Absolutely gorgeous hotel with excellent service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 August 2010

This hotel has absolutely no negatives as far as me and my hubby are concerned. We actually visited this hotel as part of our Welsh honeymoon (and on that occasion, the lovely lady who owned the hotel gave us a free upgrade to Room 4 which was aq seafront room) and the room was perfectly clean and homely, nicely decorated, smelt gorgeous thanks to a plug in freshener, had complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits and fresh clean towels and bars of soap daily. We could control the heating in our own room and there was a colour TV with remote and a lovely ensuite - fair enough it was compact but it was clean and had everything you need and the shower had good pressure and was hot as soon as you switched it on.
The breakfast menu was very varied with plenty of choice and the hoteliers and staff are superb!
