I booked for a party of 12 people for New year I was a bit apprehensive as read some reviews.I need not have worried for from the moment we arrived we had fantastic time .We were meet by Darren from the resturant with friendly banter and just got better from there on.The bar staff especialy those that joined in mop dance(they will know who they are ) made it one of the best new years we have had.Although the hotel could do with a bit of TLC in way of redecorating this was made up for in the attention the staff gave us..We look forward to visiting again....if they let us .

We went to the York House hotel over xmas. From the start of our 4 day stay the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The seaview room was fantastic and very spacious for the 3 of us(including 11 year old son with many xmas pressie). Food and entertainment were good. Would definitely come back again, we are planning to go back for Valentines Day. Overall it was the staff that made the stay 5 star, going out of there way to be hospitable and deliver the best service to guests.

We booked into the York House Hotel for xmas as we were visiting family. Most of the hotels in Eastbourne do a four day xmas special which is great but not what we wanted as we were visiting family for two days. The York House could take a booking for two nights B&B which suited us. The public areas of the hotel are fine and relaxing and the bar is busy and lively. The rooms do need a bit of investment but remember this is a 3 star hotel so we didnt expect much. The beds are very small doubles and very uncomfortable, the rooms are basic but you get what you pay for. The highlight of the stay were the very helpful and friendly staff, they looked after us very well and changed our room to a sea view when we complained about the first one they put us in. Overall if I was visiting Eastbourne I would normally book into one of the four star hotels, but if you are doing this on a budget then the York House Hotel is a great option. We booked direct with Best Western but not sure what is the best way to book.

We had a lovely few days stay and function at this Hotel.
All of our guest staying at the hotel were happy with their rooms and the service by the staff.
The breakfast was very good and the meals at the hotel were of a high quality with a good wine list.
The front off house staff where outstanding and very helpful with all of the requests.
