Warmly greeted by Paul upon my arrival and instantly showed me around the amenities. Very nicely carried my bag up to my room which was right at the top!

The television in the room didn't have freeview, so i made do with the main lounge tv instead - happy times.

Bed was comfortable with plenty of warm bedding.
Refreshment tray was full and with MUGS instead of tiny cups you often get in hotels/guesthouses!

Breakfast was nice with plenty of choice of both hot and cold food as well as fruit, yogurts and toast. Scrambled egg and bacon on toast was not a problem to be prepared by Paul.

Only yards from the 'beach' i had a grandstand view of the New Year fireworks laid on by persons unknown!

Car parking wasn't an issue for me as i arrived by train.

I feel there could have been a better checkout, for instance a box to leave your room keys in, as people just left them on the visitors book upon leaving.

Very comfortable one night stay at The Eastbourne Reymar which was booked through 'Late Rooms'.
Paid our bill in cash on departure but the same amount was taken from our bank account a week later. Tried to phone but in the end emailed but have had no reply! 'Late Rooms' on this occasion would only debit our account on the instuction of the hotel if It had been a no-show. Its was a shame as it was an enjoyable stay with a great breakfast but cost 'double'!!!

Our first visit by chance to Eastbourne has made us want to return. We were scheduled to holiday elsewhere but due to car problems we ended up in Eastbourne and luckily came across the Reymar Hotel. We were given a very warm welcome by Paul who also helped us get our car fixed, he went outside the expected zone to make our visit as comfortable as possible. We had a lovely clean room with a seaview and looked forward to going downstairs in the morning for breakfast, very nice dining room, friendly cheerful staff and a superb breakfast, so much choice plus a full english better than many of the 5* places we've stayed at previously. As we hadn't planned to stay in Eastbourne we asked advise as to where we could visit and means of getting there, again we were given all the information we needed, nothing was too much trouble. Through sheer chance we ended up having a fantastic stay and will return next year. Thank you so much for turning what could have been a nightmare into a brilliant stay!!!!

Me & my family have visited the Eastbourne Reymar several times now & have absolutely loved it, we have had very spacious family rooms, which were very clean & furnished to a high standard. The beds were very comfortable, clean towels were provided daily. The staff were Friendly & helpful & always available when we needed them. The location of the hotel is great with sea views & 1 minute walk 2 the beach front which is beautiful! The cooked breakfast was lovely & there were also a wide selection of other breakfast foods available 2 help ourselves to. All in all we were very happy with our stay & will continue to choose The Eastbourne Reymar as our holiday hotel in Eastbourne!!
