I stayed here for two nights in June. I was actually working in Stavanger that week and this was the only hotel my travel agent could get. It was really too far outside Stavanger to be practical for business and it cost about 500k each way in the taxi. However, it was fantastic, amazing location, just stunning scenery, very peaceful and relaxing. After working all day it was great to come here and be away from everything, I sat outside on the dock and read my book in the sunshine and forgot all about work.
The room was well equipped with a flat screen tv, two twin beds, very clean, simple and modern. My room was on the ground floor and had patio doors our onto the dockside.
I only ate in the restaurant once, the food was fine, pretty basic food which seems typical for Norway e.g. prawn salad is just that, prawns and lettuce, very simple but nothing wrong with it, nice and fresh. Good breakfast, lots of choice.
I'd love to go back, just as long as I didn't have to travel to work in Stavanger in the morning!
