I stayed here for 10 days during the festival season since it was literally the last hotel with rooms in Bergen and I got the last room in the hotel.
What I will say:
Staff is amazingly helpful and friendly. There we booked spots in the 10 days I needed and as soon as there was a cancellation they would immediately call me so I could book those nights.
Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Nothing fancy, the decor is sparse and the furniture is from IKEA but for a very cheap room by Bergen standards it was exactly what I expected.
The bathrooms were average but cleaned everyday.
Excellent location, loads of less expensive and quite good restaurants nearby. Right across from Grieg Hall and excellent view of the top of Mount Floyen just outside the door and from some rooms.
I found it oddly quiet for being a completely full hotel. The only time I was woken up was early one Saturday morning when a few guys came home after the bars. The noise went away once they were in their room and I went right back to sleep.
All in all, it's a backpackers hotel except everyone gets their own room. The downstairs lounge was a good place to meet people and had a very large TV with excellent cable TV and mostly in English. I would stay there again if on budget or other hotels were not available.
Bonus, amazingly fast and free wireless Internet . It was far better than most larger chain hotels I stay at, and being there on Business it was critical. You can even get reception outside.
