After three weeks of various European hotels and a rented student room in Oslo, Hotel Charme came as a welcome stay. Located on a quiet street a short walk from the city center, this small hotel gave us a modern, comfortable room. Not a lot of room to swing big luggage if you travel heavy but we don't and found the room cozy, fresh and very clean. Besides, the price was very reasonable for Norwegian rates.
Large spread of food in the breakfast room but we always missed the other guests until we were told that we were the only guests, due to being right after the Easter holidays. Certainly ample food for two guests but it goes with the rest of the wonderful service we enjoyed which made our stay in Bergen so memorable. We can't recommend Charme enough to those looking for a clean, quiet, reasonable hotel in Bergen!
