Close to the main section of town but far enough away that it's much quieter. Room were nicer than expected and bathroom was better than average. Overall, a good option if you're not looking to stay at one of the upscale hotels in town.

I stayed for a week and couldn't have been happier. All facilities were in good condition, modern, clean and working well. The location is excellent, no great views but you're one street behind the harbour and likewise shopping on Strandgaten.

Free Wifi and a decent Norwegian breakfast on offer as well, an excellent choice for any visit to Bergen, I hope to return again soon.

I stayed at the Best Western Hotell Hordaheimen for two nights. The room was tiny, but Bergen is such a fabulous place, you will not want to spend time inside your room anyway. Even in the pouring rain (for the entire time I was there,) I explored Bergen by foot and found it absolutely stunning, fun, compact, energetic, and comfortable.

The location of the hotel was great…a short walk from the train station, not right in the fish market area, but a stone’s throw away. I felt completely safe both at the hotel and wandering around the city alone.

The breakfast was pretty good – basic, but enough to get you through a good part of the day without fainting. Also, there is a make-your-own-waffle ‘bar’ for a few hours between lunch and dinner. It was random, but a nice perk in a country where food can be pretty expensive. Another perk – the free wireless.

I would definitely return to this hotel if I were lucky enough to find myself in Bergen ever again.

Good hotel, nice room, friendly & helpful staff. My room was in first floor, just above the street behind the hotel which was abit noisy, but otherwise ok.
