We were booked in for 1 night by Hurtigruten as part of their transfer package (which, incidentally, is very expensive for a flight on a budget airline from Gatwick, coach transfers and 1 night in this hotel - it would be half the price if organised yourself!). The hotel is very central, and was pleasant enough, We had a big enough room, which was clean and modern, but judging by past comments perhaps we were lucky. But for us it was comfortable enough, a reasonable breakfast (which my have been better and hotter had we arrived earlier than 9.30), friendly receptionist and good location. I was also pleased that it was better than the Strand hotel, in which we stayed last time we were in Bergen. I would be happy to return (but I would book it direct rather than through Hurtigruten)
