Have stayed there twice now, one night each time and really likes the hotel.
Both times we have come by car and then we're just 5 or 10 minutes from downtown.
But wouldnt recommend walking from hotel til downtown.
Great rooms, excellent atmosphere in lobby, wonderful breakfast buffet with warm and cold food.
Has a spa room with jacuzzi and some exercise equipment (not enough for a full work out). Offers free work out at nearby gym (didnt check this out).
Hotel is fresh and clean and beautiful.

I was on a business trip to Bergen for my company and I stayed for a night in this hotel in September 2010. My office was very near to hotel (hardly 100 mt) so it was a good hotel from location perspective. It is near to airport but some distance from town so any business traveller should stay around this place if his office is near. Norway is a costly place and it is good to be near the office if you are on business trip and so hotel was good.
If you are a vegeterian then you would not have much option to chose unless the chef prepare something like salad, veg pizza for you. Breakfast is OK. The hotel is costly compared to India but I guess normal rates for Norway city. The room was clean had nice view.

Stayed two nights at this hotel.
Rooms/suites are of a good size and although rather tired looking they are clean.
With hind sight we should have asked to move to the rear of the hotel away from the main duel carriageway into Bergen. Needed to have the windows open at night (hotel very warm) but traffic noise did make sleep rather difficult.
Breakfast was nice enough with a reasonable variety.
If the reason for your stay is to visit Bergen itself, be aware that the hotel is some distance from the city centre. We opted to use public transport rather than take our car because the roads were busy, involving tolls and parking was an unknown factor. This choice involved a 5 minute walk to the bus stop, a 10 minute bus ride to Nesttum and from there a 25 minute light train ride to Bergen centre. With waits at various places for connections you needed to allow one hour each way.
If returning to Bergen we would opt for a hotel closer to the city centre. If you are needing a hotel close to the airport I would probably recommend it but otherwise no.

The hotel is well located closed to the airport .
i suggest it for late flight arrival or early flight in the morning.
rooms are spacious and clean.
Do not miss the breakfast buffet.
