We arrived on my birthday and couldn't tear ourselves away to eat out. We bbq'd fresh salmon bought locally and drunk champagne (bring your own as alcohol is expensive in Norway) on the terrace soaking up the view of the fjord over which the cabin has uninterrupted views. There are two cabins side by side - we were the very first people to stay in this particular one - and we couldn't believe our luck. Harald, the owner, calls it a holiday cabin - we called it the home of our dreams with a view to die for. Absolutely everything you need is here (including a sauna) and our host couldn't have been more kind and helpful. You will not be disappointed with the standard of this accommodation and it's centrally situated to all attractions and sights in the Luster area, including the Jostedal glacier. What ever you do, don't leave the area without taking a guided hike on this glacier - there's a hike suitable for all ages and abilities from the inexperienced to the very adventurous. I'm hooked on Norway and can't wait to go back.
