This hotel is within walking distance of the train/bus stations (they are next door to each other) and within most of the main attractions of Trondheim. Don't come here if you want wall to wall carpets in the rooms as our room had wooden boards and although the bathroom was sizeable, there was no bath but only a shower as is typically Norwegian. The beds were twins pushed together but were rather slim to lie on. The breakfast provided was fairly good - cererals, cold meat, cheese, fish, hot sausages and scrambled eggs - although the coffee could have been better.
The only thing that was irritating was that outside the only window in the room was wooden scaffolding with builders working there on some kind of extension to the hotel, albeit behind a closed curtain - this should have been flagged up at reception when we checked in as even if we'd opened the window (which we didn't), we'd already lost what view there was.
