Just needed a place to stay during a stay in Trondheim.
The reception ladies were very forthcoming and friendly, and immediately recognized my upgraded choice membership and request for an upgraded room.
We got a room at the top floor with a window on each side of the room. The bathroom was very small though! Unfortunately there were a lot of bugs coming in trough the windows during the night. But none of then bit us.
The breakfast was very limited, but being hungover it was no problem really!

We got a late checkout just by asking, and left the hotel satisfied.

We had what had the potential to be a lovely room on the fourth floor. Unfortunately there was a large stained crack in the bathroom sink. Despite the non-smoking signs everywhere there was a strong smell of smoke. The staff offered to use their machine to clean the air, but it seems that someone had smoked near the airconditioning intake. Problem resolved in a couple of hours. Good view to the street. Staff very pleasant. Room quite large. Buffet dinner nicely done. Breakfast a good standard.

This hotel is fine for small conferences. They are service-minded and attentive to conference needs, and have (as other Quality hotels) extra snack services for conference guests, like a soft ice machine and a popcorn machine.

The rooms are of acceptable standard - I had a newly renovated room which looked fine, but I've had better beds. The breakfast was of good standard, as was the lunch. A very strong 3, bordering to 4.

Situated in the center of Trondheim makes this hotel perfect for a weekend-stay. We had a superior room and was very pleased with the size of the room (sofa, 2 chairs, coffee table and desk) We slept very well, but if you sleep light, you may have problems with noise from the street if you have your windows open. Breakfast was average, missed some sweet for my coffee. The hotel is old, but I think they have managed to keep the standard up. I liked it, but next time in Trondheim I'll try one of the newer Choice hotels in the city.
