Love this hotel! It`s comfortable, efficient and practical. :) Check in was easy, nice girls in the reception. Breakfast was good, plenty to choose from. (Missed just that something extra to make it fantastic.) Rooms are really nice! Loved the colors with dark woods and green wallpaper. Missed a good wardrobe thou... Love the fact that you can have breakfast till noon on Sundays and really late check out. :)

One night in this hotel. Everything was looking OK, and we did not bother the not so sound-proof door to the bathroom. We were prepared! The wardrobe was minimized to a few hangers without a cupboard. But for one night it was all right.

But the surprise was finding very disgusting items from earlier guests activity under the bed and in the bathroom. When checking out I told the receptionist of the findings. And she was shocked. Back home we got an evaluation form and I told what we found in the room. And since then, not a sound from the hotel.

Breakfast was superb, and we liked the hotel. Things like that can happen, but the clue is how it is dealt with.

I decided not to write about the catastrofal lack of cleaning on Tripadvisor, but with no response from the hotel: Here it comes!

Comfort Hotels in the Nordic countries are well known to be modern, cheap and minimalistic, yet with a high level of service. I booked two rooms at this hotel while traveling with a band I work with. The staff was friendly and service minded, and actually didn't charge us for the extra bed we asked for. The rooms are just okay. We were two persons on one room and three persons in another room, and we still had plenty of space on the room for three. No mini bar (Thank God! The reservation was done on my credit card alone... and when traveling with a band.. you know ;)), but a huge flatscreen TV with free "pay tv"-channels.
This hotel gave me just what I expected for the low price I paid for two rooms.

The location is also great. I arrived Trondheim by air and took the regional train to Trondheim central station. From the central station, it ony takes 5-10 minutes by foot to get to the hotel. The hotel is also close to several bars, restaurants and shopping malls.

I'll gladly stay here again next time I visit Trondheim :)

pros:
Stylish design hotel with clean room and comfortable bed
good location which is close to a bus stop, shopping malls, lots of restaurants and walking distance to some of the tourist attraction( nidaros cathedral, old town bridge)
effecient service (came up and fix a burn out bulb of the table lamp within minutes of getting my request)

cons:
had to get a new wifi password everyday from the reception
limited storage space: few hangers and very small shelf (aprox. size of a laptop)
desk is size of a plank attach to the TV wall which wasn't too comfortable to work on
water heater wasn't working on last day of my stay (wouldn't turn hot). was offered to shower in another unoccupied room, but the heater wasn't working either (cound't turn down the temperature). got the reception staff to check, after turning off the water and turn it on again, temperature is ok. after showering for awhile water got uncontrollably hot again. Gave up.

Had stayed here 3 months ago in another room which has a proper desk and everything working perfectly fine. In summary, no major drawback, except that for a hotel it is the expectation that the facilities should be functioning or well maintained.
