Opon our arrival to Kristiansand we heard that this hotel had undergone a big renovation recently, so we decided to try it. We shouldn't have... The two reseptionists told us that the hotel had only two vacant rooms, but they told us that we got the biggest one -no extra charge. Impressive we thought. What they didn't tell us was that one part of the hotel was not renovated at all. We got a room in that part. The only thing good about this room was the size. It was totally neglected, and to this day we don't understand why the offered guest in such lousy rooms. The carpet in the room, and also in the hallways leading to the room, was filthy and full of stains. There were hairs everywhere in the room, especially in the bathroom. The toilet looked as it hadn't been cleened for a while, and the same with the shower. There were towels and soap missing in the bathroom. The only thing that looked clean were the sheets on the bed - luckily. From our room and into the part of the building wich was renavated was a looooong walk. The breakfast was in the "new" part of the hotel, and it was OK. But that's it.
