It was a marvelous scenery in this area, but the hotel had many faults... The food was average, but very expensive. The rooms were OK, small bathrooms and tepid water. We had a room with fjord-view, very nice view! But the service in this hotel was more or less poor. You felt that once you have payed for your room, they did not want to do anything more for you. The staff seemed to be a little "impudent", if you asked for help, it seemed like you were waisting theire time. They had no public computer in order, so you couldnt even check your e-mail. In Norway do the staff at the hotels normally have above average hospitality, but this was the poorest hotel i've been in in Norway, though it was expensive. With another staff-attitude this could have been a pleasant stay. I will not recommend this hotel if youre going to this area. There are many more cheaper and better hotels in this area, hotels were they treat you as a guest, not a moneymachine...
