This hotel is really special. First of all it is perfectly situated: it takes about 10 minutes to the central station, to Karl Johan gate, and to the opera, which makes it an ideal starting point to explore the city without any additional time or costs. Then, you get a genuine warm welcome as well as fresh fruit, hot tea and coffee as much as you like. The room is clean, spacious enough, warm, and well ventilated, with a small fridge, and and a rather small closet (but with an iron and ironing board inside). The bed can be adjusted by the remote control. The shower is hot, with a heated bathroom floor (!!!). The only thing that I would improve is the selection of the TV programms.
The breakfast is really delicious with a plenty of various things (the pictures you see on the internet are true). More so, the idea to offer pancakes in the afternoon and the buffet in the evening is just ingenious because you simply don't get destructed from sight-seeing by having to look for a good but reasonably priced restaurant and you still can eat out somewhere else if you like: in other words, this is definetely a relaxing factor and that is what you need after a busy day. The sauna is working and we enjoyed it one evening although this whole area definetely needs some improvement. The construction area right opposite the hotel can be a problem for those who are rather sensitive about the noise but to be honest it didn't desturb us due to the fact that we got up early and spent most of the time outside. All in all, I would move in if I could.

This nice hotels with a fairly good location is a good choice in Oslo. Close to Karl Johan (parade street) and Central Station - within 3-5 min. walk. Be aware that Skippergaten is safe but have unwanted activity from the worlds oldest profession in the evenings.

Hotel lobby area, service level, evening buffet and breakfast is very good! Rooms were renovated and nice with a big minus for the bathrooms which is the smallest I have ever experienced. A normal bathroom wood have got you a better ratting from me.

Overall nice hotel and as everything else in Oslo - expensive!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Staff was friendly and helpful , our room was quiet , clean, nicely furnished and had with very comfortable beds.

Location was good. Not too far away from transportation or anything really.

We were also satisfied with the food, it was mostly delicious and you had wide range to choose from.
Food in Olso, like everything else is very expensive so we were happy that we could have our meals at the hotel.

Downstairs the hotel had nice areas where to spend cold, dark nights if you preferred to stay in.

Oslo was beautiful and had nice things to do and visit.

Would love to go back, and i would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Good value. Staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. Location was excellent - easy walking distance from the Oslo Central Station and the city centre.

The room was clean, modern, comforatble and a nice size with a wetroom style bathroom.

A supper buffet was included in the price of the room which waas excellent - simple traditional hot and cold food and plenty of it. Breakfast again was excellent. But what we really liked was the afternoon pancakes - From 3pm to 6pm you can cook your own pancakes - all included!
