Note: This is the fist time I stayed in a B&B guesthouse. My review is biased from my expectations, not what might be common among B&B places. I choose this guesthouse because staing there would make me avoid rushtraffic when visitin a client nearby in the morning.
The guesthouse is located in a residential area, near the end of a deadend street. This makes the place very quiet. There's no noticable trafficnoise. Just a few minutes away there's a subwaystation.
Communication was handled by email with the owner, and replies came quick and was informal. Upon arrival, I was showed the room and other facilities in a polite and friendly way. There's also free WiFi.
The rooms are noticably old. There's no sound insulation between the rooms, and I was sometimes disturbed from noise when the other guest opened and closed their doors (som lubrication on the hinges would be nice), and walked around.
Breakfast were included in the roomprice, and the owner made a small, but acceptable, breakfast table in the morning.
I will not recommend this hotel to a friend. My preferences are a bit higher in quality, and next time I will pay some more to stay in a regualt hotel. Once again I have to emphasize that staying in a B&B guesthose is something I'm not familiar with. Regular B&B users might find this a perfect stay.
