First the pluses:
* Excellent location in a beautiful and quiet area close to the city center
* Good and friendly service
* Good breakfast

Then the minuses:
* The hotel is really worn out and there was a lot of dirt in the room both because of the age but also because of poor cleaning
* Air quality in my room was bad, and the first thing I did when I came in was to open the window
* TV was tiny and old from the age before flat screens
* Bathroom was small but ok for one person

If you're travelling to Oslo by car this is a perfect hotel. It is situated just outside the most busy city centre and includes free parking. We stayed during a out of season weekend and were upgraded free of charge. The wifi was very good. Breakfast was more than adequate, good bread, eggs cooked perfectly. Highly recommended.

i was in this hotel on March 10th and it was a great experience. Great architecture, cosy interior like if it was your living home and nice rooms.The area is very charming within walking distance to Vigeland park and nice walk into the town center (30 min). The tram line is just outside to go to town center and a lovely bakery is in the corner.
Staff are friendly and welcoming and you have dinner and breakfast included which i thought it was very good.
I will come back in my next visit to Oslo

Have stayed here for many years, its the best and most user friendly Hotel in Oslo, quiet location in a class residential area (Oslo West), very near the centre if town, accessable and friendly staff with spacious well designed rooms and free car parking.
