The room was nice, confortable and the staff is very friendly. The hotel is placed in a terrific neighbourhood and walking distance to key attractions. Breakfast is delicious. Just do not classify as excellent since I needed an outlet adapter (forgot mine in Sweden) and the hotel had no one available for me to borrow. Anyhow, very good value for money.

Ccomfortable rooms in hotel with lots of character. Staff were extremely helpful, for example even making an international call for me to locate a lost item, and keeping items for me I'd left behind.

Location is just out of the centre in a lovely neighbourhood, near a tram line, and near oslo's best attraction, Vigeland Park. Would certainly go back.

This is not your typical moderm hotel. It has a lot of charm and all of the makings of an older European hotel. But, it has allof the ammenities of a modern hotel - a perfect combination of old world elegance and new technology!

From check-in through check-out, the staff was delightful and very accomodating. They all seemed to speak English, so I had no problem in communicating with them.

The room I had was quite nice. Rather large for a European hotel room, with a huge window that opened out onto the street below. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in, and although the bathroom was somewhat small, it worked fine for me.

The free wireless internet was great, and very fast - I was able to stream a few movies while I was there (since most of the TV is in Norwegian).

The breakfast is superb and plentiful with a lot of variety. Eggs, bread-goods, frech fruit, cheeses, smoked fish & herring, etc.

I would definitely stay here again if I returned to Oslo!
