We spent the weekend in Oslo and had prebooked this hotel with a very good price. The hotel i situated in a small shopping mall wich is directly connected to the main railway station. This meens that you can walk indoors from the train and to the hotel. You are more or less in the centre of Oslo when staying here.
The welcome at the front desk was professional (with a smile) and thats it. No small talk, just the most essential to get your key and find your way to the room. The room was small and the view was to the back, facing the nearby offices in the neighboring building. The room was equiped with a TV (satelite),a wardrobe, a desk, a minibar, two chairs and a queen bed.There where a space in the entrance for the suitcase. The bathroom had a shower and fixed soap dispensers on the wall. Two towels for each person and extra towels in the wardrobe. The room was clean.
Breakfast was served in the neighboring restaurant (Egon). I am sorry to say that there were no glasses for the juice (came after a while) and they allso went out of cups for thee and coffe (was supplied after a while). Used plates, glasses and cups where taken away, but the table was not cleaned. The food itself was a complete breakfast and tasted very well.
Except from the lacking interest from the staff we where pleased with the stay and would consider using this hotel again.

If you are planning to go see the Fjords by train, this hotel is in perfect. You can take a train to and from the airport from the central station and trains to Fjords from central station as well. The hotel is practically on the station-you can't get any closer. We were 3 people in one room and they had 3 beds for us. The staff was really helpful. They even packed our breakfast for us to go for our early morning train. Highly recommend this hotel.

Staff was nice and very helpful. The location is very central and there is a bus that goes to and from Rygges Airport from the Central station which more or less houses the hotel. Room was small but we did fine and even had a crib in there. A good breakfast is offered every day and free wifi in all rooms.

We stayed there for 3 nights just before Christmas. We arrived late about midnight and easily found the hotel once we figured which exit to take from the station.
Check in was fast. Rooms are simple but clean. We had a view over the square outside the station on a high floor.
Breakfast is slightly strange, it was served in the Egon restaurant across the hallway entrance to the shopping centre that the hotel stands in. Breakfast was fair, the end of breakfast time meant just that. On the dot the food was cleared away. Have never had such a good breakfast as in the Melia in Berlin and this didn't come close.
Would definitely stay there again, super location and hotel.
