our room had recently been upgraded with new TV and beds. Once the trick of closing the shower door tight shut was mastered getting clean was fun too.
One disappointing feature that seems to becoming common in Sweden/Norway is the later timing of the included breakfast due to Christmas making it impossible to eat before catching an early train out of Oslo. Lucky there are plenty of early risers running food outlets in the railway station. Good tip for train travellers is to take bottled water and something you like to eat unless you like bad coffee, hot dogs and white flour in cakes and bread products...plenty of choices before you board the train in Oslo!

I booked a non-smoking room, but got an old smokers room, which is so arrogant I can't believe it. After complaining I got moved (after spending one night in the filthy smoke stench) to a room that was cleaner, but still old and smelly and had smoke coming in through the ventilation.

The wash room is a mess, and the iron was so dirty it put black stains on my white shirt. :(

Avoid this hotel at all cost. Book a clean hotel instead.

Hight price,loud aircondition,not so much clean and the internet was just aprox.200kb/s like in medival age!!just locarion is good.go somewhere else!

Great hotel, good value for money, central location, view on green royal palace gardens. We were given a 9th floor appartment instead of the booked room (double queensize bed). Lots of space and a separate large balcony. You could even moke in the hotelroom! Great!
