A friend and I stayed in this hotel for two nights in March 2007. We were staying over a weekend, and were in Oslo for a concert at the Spectrum. What I didn't realise when booking this (we chose it because it was cheap compared to everything else) was how central it was! Everything was within walking distance - the Spectrum took us about ten minutes to reach and Akerbrigge (or however you spell it, the docks!) were ten minutes in the other direction. Attached to the hotel is a really nice convenience shop where you could buy takeaway food as well as magazines and cigarettes etc etc. The room was basic enough, but very clean and the beds were cosy. I loved that breakfast was delivered to your room in the morning - this meant that sleeping in didn't mean you missed out. The reception were also helpful - the girl who was working when we were there printed us out directions to the Viking museum and didn't act like we were annoying her despite not speaking any Norwegian...
