Stayed here during a conference. rooms and hotel are pleasant. some yellow marks in bathroomceeiling was a small drawback. The same was the service and quality of the food during dinner.
but all in all a positive experience.

We have stayed at several hotels in Oslo since we frequently visit the town, and consider all things when traveling with car Rica Helsefyr is for us the best choise:
- free parking and plenty of spaces - not at all common in Oslo, very expensive elsewhere
- near subway
- very good hotel, clean, nice rooms, exelent brekfast
- not moore expensive than other simular hotels in Oslo

One terrible experience can ruin a fantastic hotel. This property has everything except a/c and one polite server. The reception staff is excellent and professional. They are renovating, so if you need to sleep in you might want to go somewhere else until they finish. Even with the provisional breakfast arrangement, the buffet was well handled in spite of the large tour group.
The Bistro is open during renovation, and it was there that we experienced the worst service of our long lives. The server was rude to the point of acting puerile. He clearly warms to Norwegian speakers, but not to us! His banging service ware on the table and smirking ruined dinner. By the way, the dinner was artfully prepared and delicious.
So we shall return to this hotel because the people are great and the parking is included in the price. But we'll never go near the Bistro in spite of a clearly excellent chef.

This hotel was part of our tour through Norway. Easy to find by car, once you know the way. Traffic around Oslo was pretty hectic on account of many road works and renovations. Anyway parking was free in front of the hotel. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. Getting to the centre of Oslo took some time.
Hotel was okay, but no more than that. Nice room. Hallways did not seem very well cleaned. But is only for one night. Breakfast on the other hand was very good. If you come by car this hotel should be a good choice, otherwise look for somewhere more central.
