We stayed at this hotel for one night for convenience as it's right by Oslo train station, and we were getting an early flight the next morning.
I haven't stayed in any Radisson hotels before, but had the expectation that it would be comfortable and service would be slick and efficient. However, we had a few issues as soon as we arrived which quickly became irritating.
On arrival into our room, we immediately noticed a nasty smell (cross between drains & curry!) so I called down to reception and they agreed to send someone up to move us. Second room looked fine on initial inspection, but we then noticed there was only a single duvet on the double bed. Called down again - receptionist apologised and said he thought there was only a single traveller (?). A lady came up to change the duvet for us, all good. Then went to have a shower and noticed no curtain up - I assumed that it was one of those quick dry heated floors that so many places in Norway have, but no: whole bathroom immediately soaked, including toilet, which you could pretty much step into from the shower! Rang down again, this time a bit annoyed - receptionist very apologetic and said we could move to a business class room.
This was a nice gesture (although to be honest, the room was identical - only difference is free films and bathrobes) but when we got to the new room, noticed AGAIN no double duvet on bed and 1 bathrobe. Called again - same lady came to replace our duvet (looking slightly perplexed to see us again in another room!) and bathrobe.
It was about 2 hrs later by the time this had been rectified. I was exhausted from travelling and had just wanted to relax and go to bed, but we spent a lot of time either moving rooms or waiting for staff to come and replace items. Not impressed with the service and probably won't stay at any Radissons again.
