Clean, ok rooms in modern style for urban people in their 20's and 30's. Check-in and check-out can be done on self-service machines, but there are hosts in the lobby. Central location, near the railway station and opera house.

Very good located hotel in downtown Oslo near the Operahouse and railwaystation. The room i got was ordinary and quiet with a sight to the backyard. But that was ok.

The lobby was very modern with iMacs for free use. The hotel got a healthy policy, with low fat/carbs benefits.

The only negative experience was the breakfast. Empty for juice, ham and other hot food.Too bad :-(

And another netative aspect. there is a lot of drug addics in the araea, but that is also related to most of downtown Oslo

We had 1 night only in Oslo for this part of our trip. We picked this hotel as it is a 5 min walk from the central train staton where the airport train drops you, and where we were catching the train the next morning. The rooms were all you need for a short stay - clean, quiet, comfortable. Reasonable breakfast, free internet.

All in all, good value - if you want a reasonably priced option with easy access to the airport/train station, this ticks all the boxes.

As an expatriate who still comes back to Oslo for short business trips, I have made it a habit to stay at this hotel when I am not staying with family. It is perfectly located in downtown oslo, almost next to the new opera house and the central train station. Nice staff, good breakfast, and moving with the times (frequent upgrades to the decor and style, always looking very fresh). Getting hipper all the time (in the elvator they advertise their "Kick A*s breakfast"), but keeping the same, low prices. I'll be back!

The only problem I have had, is that since the hotel caters (more and more) to a hip and young crowd, sometimes I have had problems sleeping due to "partying" in other rooms. There is very little noise insulation between the rooms (unlike the "serious" business hotels, but they cost 3 times as much...).
