One reveiwer said that the breakfast here was nothing special. He could not be more wrong. The spread of foods was incredible and almost nothing left out. Where else can you get home made norwegian style waffles fresh off the waffleiron? Staff were helpful and courteous, and free internet was great. Also liked the sauna pool and gym. Not the cheapest place to stay, but location is second to none. I loved it, especially as we stayed over New years eve and got a bird's eye view of the fireworks. Just a hop and a skip to the train station and buses and metro are outside the door. Can walk to large shopping centres and the Akershus fortress. Tourist info centre and all hours shops across the road.

Though I was only in Oslo for one night, this hotel was nicely located within the city, putting you close to the main sights. Room was are good but my company put me up in a small room.

A pretty decent breakfast spread but nothing special.

Another great point is that it is located right across from the train station.

I will stay here again for sure.

I think what I disliked about the place was the size of the room - too small and cramped. It ws not incredibly cheap even though I got some kind of deal @ EUR 150 per night.
Otherwise it was good place for sure - great location, friendly staff, good facilities (restaurant, lounges, business centre where just about anyone can use the lounge, free coffee, good lunch buffet), nice ambience, not cheap but not prohibitively expensive either.
Good place, I'd recommend it if you got a larger room.
Enjoyed Oslo in general.
