We spent 3 days here during a blizzard in March 2011. The rooms are relatively modern, quite small but quiet and ours had an interesting view of the industrial town of Narvik. The owner and receptionists were friendly and helpful (especially when our train to Stockholm was cancelled). The breakfast was very good. Be warned that the hotel is directly up a steep hill from the town centre - it was a challenge to drag our bags up the icy paths.
Whilst in Narvik we spent 2 days skiing on the downhill ski slopes; very low key, great snow but unfortunately the bad weather meant that the majority of lifts were not open. However we had the slopes to ourselves for much of the day and we would recommend it especially if the full ski area is accessible.
